About the designer

Hi! I'm Megan. I'm the owner and designer here at Gingerly.

Gingerly was started in 2004 but I've been making jewelry (even selling door to door!) since I was in Elementary school.

I love all things bold but simple. Besides jewelry, thrifting has been my jam since I was in high school. My entire room was filled with kitsch from the 1950's and 60's from the time I had a part time job. My love of creating and design morphed into what is is today when I decided to take a leap and start my own jewelry design company (Gingerly Designs) at the ripe old age of 22. What began as a small website then grew into 20 plus stores carrying my line across North America and then eventually into my own brick and mortar retail store. (from 2008-2010)

Since starting a family 13 years ago, things have changed for me a bit. I began selling mostly online and that's where I still am today. I miss the in person experience of having a store, but I still love creating and I love the fact that in an online space, anyone can shop from me from anywhere in the world.
